The Public Unvieling of "WINGS" began with a fancy dress party at Londons Empire Ballroom November 8
1971,and With the realease of the "Wild Life" album December 7 1971.Although Denny Laine,and Denny Seiwell
Were Also Involved in The Recording Of The McCartney Album "RAM" Released in May Of 1971.

Linda McCartney
Denny Laine, of ex Moody Blues & Ginger Bakers "Air Force".
Denny Seiwell, ex session drummer from the U.S. is chosen from try outs in N.Y.C.
This Lineup Recorded The First Wings Album "Wild Life"
Henry McCullough,formerly from Joe Cockers Band,joines Wings in January 1972.
The first live performance was an unannounced show,held at lunch time in the students union hall at Nottingham University,February
9 1972.
This lineup stayed together through the Red Rose Speedway album,at which time Henry McCullough quits the band,shortly
after touring Europe.
Followed shortly thereafter by Denny Seiwell in 1973.Neither of the two wanting to go to Lagos,for the Band
on the Run Recording.
The "Band on the run" album was recorded in Lagos,Nigeria
With the three remaining Wings.Paul,Linda & Denny Laine.
Auditions for a new drummer began sometime in April 1974.back in the U.S.A.
It appears there were in the neighborhood of 6-7 dozen applicants.Geoff Britton being chosen to join the group.Although
he quits only 9 months after joining the band.
He is then replaced by New York drummer Joe English in the early part of 1975.Joe calls it quits sometime in november
1977.Wanting to return to the U.S.
Guitarist,Jimmy McCulloch is asked by Paul to join the band in June of 1974,after previously being used in some recording
sessions.Jimmy leaves the band in September 1977.Joining the reformed Small Faces.He admittedley made a big mistake in doing
so,he's later quoted in saying.
Drummer Steve Holley being a friend of Denny Laine,meets Paul at a party at Dennys in Laleham in early 1978.After somewhat
of a jam session that evening,Paul rings up Steve for a formal audition.Steve Holley joins the band mid 1978.
During this same period top session guitarist Laurence Juber joins the band,june 1978
This being the last rendition of "Wings".
The end more or less comes January 16th 1980. The band touches down in Tokyo to begin touring,when customs seizes
7 ouncses of Marajuana in Paul's baggadge. The tour is cancelled,and Paul is deported only after spending 10
days in jail.
Paul announces the group is officially disbanded in April 1980 .............
